Hello Ann,

How are you doing? Hope, everything is ok. I can’t believe you haven’t been to the theatre for a while but it’s really great you wish to attend it soon! Let me tell you about my theatrical preferences.

First of all, last time I visited the theatre was a year ago in London. You’re right, that’s amazing! I had a great opportunity to go to the Globe Theatre where W.Shakespeare staged plays himself!

Moreover, we watched his famous drama «Romeo and Juliet» there. It was unbelievable! Everything together - the costumes, the scenes, the orchestra playing and, of course, the fabulous actors’ performance - worked magically well together. After the play we were filled with inspiration and excitement. The audience had standing ovations and actors came back for curtain calls twice.

Finally, giving you some advice on the choice of the performance, I believe you should take into account its genre. So, firstly, choose a kind of play you like - either a drama or a comedy or a historic play. Then, I recommend you to read some reviews about your chosen performance. By the way, you shouldn’t make your choice only based on the reviews because tastes differ, you know. Next, get a good friend to go with you - the one who adores the theatre as much as I do! I’m sure you’ll be overwhelmed with emotions afterwards!

Sorry, I need to go now but I’m waiting for your next letter to get to know all your impressions after going to the theatre!

Hugs and kisses,
Jane
